Iv not got a problem with us getting a deflected goal, makes a welcome change..Vardy’s was a lucky deflection against us. This is very true.

The bitterness is intoxicating, but don’t waste your time with RAWK or Bluemoon. Just log on here. One man team. Manager is incompetent. Jammy bastards. Penalties. Undeserved late winners. It’s all here in one convenient place. If you weren’t to tell me the result I’d think we’d lost or drew the game reading some of the posts on here. Yesterday we were lucky and got an undeserved 3 points but fuck it, how many times have we seen our rivals do the same the last few years and complained about it. The squad has its flaws re: suspect back 4 and zero width/wingers but they’re more exciting than anything we’ve had to endure the past 7 years. A genuine club legend returns as manager and has us challenging for the league midway through the season for the first time since Fergie. You’d think United supporters of all people might want to get on board with that?!? Yeah, there are major flaws with the squad, but do people forget that Fergie’s early teams weren’t the title winning machines who dominated seasons from start to finish like his later ones were? Started slow and needed Cantona to come and save us. Weren’t top until Jan and dropped points in almost half our games. Those first years while Fergie built a squad that learned how to win were pretty helter skelter. We didn’t have the swagger and aura (culture) that beat teams in the tunnel until much later. A swagger and aura (culture) that Moyes/LvG axe murdered, and Ole is slowly restoring. Strengthen the squad in Jan, kick on in the second half of the season and this could be 1992 all over again. (Or 1991-92 when we shoulda coulda woulda but didn’t...until the next season.) Shouldn’t that be exciting for those who say they support this club? Don’t get all the negativity.

I think Dave deserves a shout. He’s had a mixed few years but he’s been back to his best, or near it, this season. Henderson breathing down his neck has probably helped him.

Seems that way with more than just Dave aswell. May just be coincidental but Telles coming in seems to have helped Shaw aswell. Hes been brilliant these last few weeks.

That’s where most of it stems from I reckon.

Fair enough I suppose, I mean I’m just as negative on them as the next guy, but we’re finally in a position where we might actually succeed in spite of them. Imagine how amazing that would be!

If they gave you a choice between us winning #21 and stopping Liverpool equalling our record this season and the owners walking away which would you choose?

But the rotten core would remain, and if still hate them all.

We can always win more titles and with better owners we would.

I'm always cautious on title talk. If we're 9 points ahead with 4 games to go I'll still claim we aren't favourites!
I desperately do hope we win the title of course. However, we can't let it blind us to the fact that (perhaps bar Leicester) we'd be the weakest side to win it in years, with the weakest ever PL by a mile. And we'd still need to desperately improve at CB and RW at the very least. Obviously if he wins the title Ole deserves at least another year (barring an Arsenal-esque collapse), but I'd still have my doubts about him TBH - unless he proves them wrong on the way of course.
