Its being abused, using it for tight offsides and anything not obvious is asking for trouble. Referees are not making tough decisions anymore.

Honestly, it shouldn't be used for anything.

Part of sport is the instant decision making, in pressure situations. That often the difference between the elite and the don't have it. You have a split second, heat is on, thousands of fans calling and screaming and singing, what do you do?

Quick!! Pass? Shoot? Dribble? Make a decision, NOW! The cross is coming in, do you come for it? Stay on your line? You don't have time to think, the ball is half way now, MAKE A FUCKING DECISION!

Same for refs, was there a touch on the ball?! Maybe, maybe not. The players are all looking at you. The fans are all looking at you. Quick, penalty or not. QUICK! Now its just "yeah, I dunno, whatever. Lets meander over to the screen to watch it a few times"

The top players, in any sport, generally make the right calls. Same as the top officials. This is a total cop out for refs. What is "sporting" about stopping the game 5/6/7 times to sit and minutely review every tight decision over and over and over again, from a multitude of angles, in super slow motion?

I seriously fucking loathe it.
