800 year old Phil Jagielka the best defender on the pitch. Not difficult with our forwards. Why wasn’t Cavani brought on at halftime? PS I’m no manager, but Cavani and VdB at half-time for Martial and Matic was painfully obvious. Had he replaced Martial i would have been happy. How can he give Martial 80 minutes in that game?

Also, I know the vogue thing now is to completely shit on Martial but honestly it's on the manager at this point.
The player, to me, looks entirely shot of all confidence and like he needs taken out of it for a while. A proper while, with appearances from the bench when Martial might actually have a chance to make an impact instead of simply coming into games on zero confidence.

I just don't think Ole will ever be good enough. He might get lucky and get a trophy this season. He might even get really lucky and watch as half a dozen teams that should be better than us falter, meaning we get the title. But as much of it will be in spite of him rather than because of him.
And don't think I'm blaming this solely on him. Martial needs to be dropped. DDG was dreadful for both goals. Matic is a dinosaur. And none of the rest turned up either. But his tactics were non-existent and a bench that is one of the best in the league was used horribly and late.
I've said this before, but I think it remains true. Bar perhaps Newcastle, would any PL club swap their manager for ours? I don't think half the Championship would either. Chelsea are cunts but at least they already realised that 'he knows the club' - which still appears to be basically his only qualification for the job - means absolutely fuck all. I don't think Guardiola had even fucking heard of City before he joined, yet he'll soon win his third title with them in five years.

First bit of pressure and they fold. Zero character and zero leadership. We’ve been scrapping by with moments of magic and individual brilliance, which was never sustainable. No harm this happens now rather than in April when it would break your heart.
It was sort of fun while it lasted but that’s our lot. Back to losing in semi finals of cups.

Lucky Ole again tonight.lucky that we can’t afford to sack him,his staff & then replace them all with a management team with the experience & pedigree that such a job warrants.

I'm no tactician but did we just play matic and pogba as holding midfielders against Sheffield United the worst team in the league.
The game neaded zip and energy and we have 100 year old matic on and fred, Scott and beeky on the bench
This loss is firmly at oles door for me tonight

Indeed but Martial always looks like he would rather be at home watching telly. His attitude and work ethic is all wrong. Martial should be sold in my opinion. He's never going to be the player we hoped for.

I never look at Zidane and think "Top, top manager him", despite everything he's won with Real. I think he's just a lucky fucker who has managed to get breaks, and have some top class and experienced winners drag him to success. We could win the league or even a Champions League and I doubt I'd ever think Ole was the right man for the job. Even shite/average managers somehow win big sometimes (Di Matteo anyone?). He's not the right man, he just isn't.

Rio is absolutely right, but it is still sickening that a legend like him has to say that we are the inexperienced team and Manchester fucking City are the ones with players who know what it takes to win a title. Just should not be the case. Fucking Glazers.

Ole:
"We had all the possession, but when you concede two bad goals... it's always going to be difficult. We didn't create enough."
"That little bit extra [of magic] was missing. They defended well, take nothing away from their performance."
"Their first goal was a foul... At the other end, no foul [for our disallowed goal]. That's two mistakes from the referee."
"The second goal we conceded is just so poor, so sloppy... completely out of character. That's maybe down to the season it is as well."
"No big inquest... we've been the most consistent team in the last few months, it just hit us today... we go again."

The heart of the club has been ripped out and we have people at the top who couldn't give 2 fucks....they've chucked a shit load of money at tom Brady at the bucs to get them where they need to be but won't do it for us......

Their second goal was horrific from our point if view so many players at fault.
There are times in interviews ole looks like a lost little child.
I know he's not that kind of character but get fucking angry once in a while
Don't laugh and smirk after we have just been fucked by the worst team in the league
I have so many doubts about him and this team and if I'm honest at this stage would be happy to get third

Both goals conceded were unforgivable DeGea is like Dracula he just hates crosses and the slack marking for the second was amateurish, Martials time is up he doesent have the desire or will to win, Sheff United at home should be 3 points nailed, absolute shite.
