If Juve get Locatelli as it seems, I think Bentancur would be a good addition to our midfield.

I find it objectionable that City can sign players while being under investigation AGAIN, for allegedly cooking their books.

I find it objectionable that City can sign players while being under investigation AGAIN, for allegedly cooking their books. It's not objectionable it's a fucking farce. They're on course to spend 250 million on 2 players this window. If that does indeed happen, the 19 other clubs should riot and refuse to go ahead with the games because it's fucking nonsensical for 19 teams to play by the rules and 1 to wipe their arse with the rulebook.

I’m pretty jealous of City signing Grealish to be honest. It’s the first one of their signings for a good while that I’ve really wished we were making. He would’ve been a great fit for us. Think he was a United fan as a kid too.
Yeah, the money is daft, but it’s irrelevant. Them spending £100m is the equivalent of me parting with about twenty quid down the pub.

Dias was a really good signing but they deserve credit for that one after passing on Maguire once the asking price became ridiculous.
But yeah aside from Dias they haven't done anything that noteworthy in the transfer market in recent years and that has been reflected a bit in their points total which has been in the 80s the last few seasons compared to 100 or so in their peak. So it would have been perfect if the football authorities clipped their wings for a year or two and allowed Ole a few shots at the title now our first XI at least is comparable to theirs following the Varane and Sancho signings.
But Kane and Grealish would blow the gap wide open again. So it is really frustrating to hear the need to raise funds through player sales messages coming out of the club as well as the implications we will only sign a midfielder if Pogba leaves.
We've only spent £110m so far. We should be targeting £200m. And in this wonderful transfer market spending an extra £90m could get you Saul, Camavinga and Trippier. We should then pull out all stops next summer to get Haaland. And we'd have a squad that would be capable of challenging for titles for the next 5 years. And if Ole can't win anything with that squad there are plenty of managers out there who could.

The slimey weasels did everything to keep the investigation secret which tells you everything about this lot. I'm annoyed with there constant cheating and getting away scot free with a shitty fine.

I know many on here were ahead of the curve on Dias, but I wasn’t bothered at the time as I’d not seen much of him at all. Obviously on reflection it’s a signing I wish we’d made. But Grealish has something about him on the pitch and in his personality. Just seemed like a United player.

The worst thing about all this with city again, is they will just get away with it again, little fine at most and a slap on the wrist, longer transfer bans, competition expulsion, points deducted is the only thing that will ever impact on them.

If they have nothing to hide then why not comply in full with the investigation, so it just shows there must be something in it! Just imagine it was united, the hatred coming down on us and demand for the book to be thrown at us would be at fever pitch!!

They should not be allowed to make any transfer dealings until investigations are completed.

Talk on Twitter that we’re way ahead of the scouse for Saul, and potentially have agreed a fee already
