Not the result or performance. Just the selection itself Was was the worst part for you? Martial still CF? James? Or no Bailly? Hard to say, James ran his socks off and was rewarded for it but I think the only time he should be ahead of anyone is against a side that actually presses. He’s usually ineffective against a defensive side because he has no space to run at. He’s better on the left as well. Bailly sure, Martial absolutely, I’m officially over him leading the line. We had a little bit of luck and individual brilliance to get the points but do we really need two holding midfielders v Newcastle? I suppose Donny is still hurt and the only other available midfielder was Juan. Interestingly Matic again showed his clever hold up play on the edge of the box. Oh and Henderson, why in the hell not. A keeper that actually leaves his line in confidence would benefit Lindelof and Maguire, or whoever. |

Wouldn't it be nice if Martial had James attitude?
I don't rate James but at least the kid is positive and tries. If he had Martials talent or Martial his attitude they would be a great player.
Instead we have the Frenchman with the biggest "Urgh, yeah, whatever" attitude since Anelka.

Instead we have the Frenchman with the biggest "Urgh, yeah, whatever" attitude since Anelka. Martial has been done at this club for a long bloody time. I can't wait to see the back of him honest to God. When he does that thing where he makes a bad pass and then acts as if the receiver should teleport himself to the pass location makes me want to kick him in his bits. |

At the moment 3 points is a welcome 3 points,but there has to be someone out there that can coach Maguire & Co to perform at a better level,I do not believe that they are as bad as their current performance levels suggest.

Middle of the first half James put a very good ball hard and low across the box, Martial just trotted in the box half arsed no urgency or attempt to get onto the ball and was no where near it when he should have been. A normal manager wouldn't put up with it but we`ve got Ole. |

I know confidence seems to he an issue with Martial but that's no excuse forbtheblack of effort. Rashford has been struggling for confidence, James was last season but they at least tried to put effort in. Martial just aimlessly jogs about.
Think for the side and for himself he needs to be dropped completely. It's just pathetic watching him now.

It's frustrating to be stuck with Maguire, we overpaid so badly that he's basically impossible to sell now.
Look at his reaction just after his nothing header straight to a Newcastle player, effectively gifting Saint-Maximin a half-volley - throws his hands up and blames everyone around him.
It irks me so much.

I know he's everyone's favourite kicking sack at the moment but I when I watch him he reminds me of Sanchez. It's like he's forgotten how to be good a football. Every so often he does something really decent then just goes back to jogging about aimlessly. How or why he hasn't just been taken out of the team for a proper break and, hopefully, reset is beyond me. |
