Hats off. He's fucking ace. This from Carragher was exceptional, calling out the lazy punditry of Jenas, Shearer, Souness etc. Turning up on prime time telly and not bothering doing any research on the subject matter. Tell you what, it’s no wonder Jenas has got the One Show gig. An acceptable face for middle class England. Don’t dare nod along while John Sergeant talks about his visit to the fucking pencil factory one day, then come on TV and try to speak with authority about my club the next.

What a fucking world. How ridiculous does a situation have to be that Jamie fucking Carragher is a voice of reason on behalf of United fans. Fair play to him. He has more integrity than most, especially the MotD lot.

Fair play on the pictures dude
as for embedding the images, you'll need to copy the link for each image (firefox allows you right click and 'copy link') then come back into the post (if you're editing) and click edit - if not click reply. When you're in the edit / create post bit you'll need to click the 7th button from the right on the bar where the font etc is. In there paste the image url and click insert image. If all goes to plan you'll see this

Seriously sick of hearing about how much we've spent the last few years.
Besides from completely missing the point about everything else (debt, allowing stadium to be run down, shite appointments, no planning, no communication etc, etc) it's a load of bollocks anyway.
From 2005/06 - 2012/13, so the Fergie years under Glazers, United spent around 350M pounds, recouping around 200M. So a net spend of around 150M. Over 8 seasons that's 18.75M a year.
From 1997/98 - 2004/05 we spent 290M, recouping 120M, so a net spend of 170M, 21.25M per season.
So, despite transfer fees rising massively (British transfer record in 1997 was 15M, in 2013 it was 32M for instance) we somehow had a higher net spend in the 8 years preceding the Glazers as we did after them, and only spent around 60M (or 7.5M per season) more on average, again despite the huge rise in fees.
The money only started getting spent when Fergie left and they realised it they wanted Champions League funds they were going to have to finally actually spend some cash.
Imagine what Ferguson could have achieved with the clubs actual profits to spend. Ribery instead of Young. Robben instead of Valencia. Aguero instead of Hernandez. Ramos instead of Smalling. Etc, etc.

Some of these pundits criticising united fans and saying the glazers have been good owners just don't get it do they, shearer, jenas, Mills, can all fuck off. Money may have been spent but it wasn't their money was it, they haven't put a dime in to this club and they've left OT to rot, no structure, no forward planning, skipping from manager to manager without a fuckin clue, keeping players well past their best/use just to protect resale value. Servicing massive debt, taking dividends, 1bn taken out of the club you fucks, 1bn and counting. Dont comment on what you don't understand They have been good owners for ABU as Glazers are basicly good handbreak on United and what United could pointentally do without that handbreak.

Martin Samuel giving us a nice insight into how too many in the media think:
How the Glazers lousy reign has been good for the game
This was not a widely-held view in the environs of Old Trafford on Sunday, but it could be argued that the Glazers have been rather good for English football.
Not at first, obviously.
Between the 2005 takeover and the 2013 departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, the club won five league titles and the Champions League, and the status quo prevailed.
Yet since then, the utter mess that has been made of the Ferguson succession by the owners and their executives has allowed Manchester City to rise, the resurgence of Chelsea under several managers, Liverpool’s first title of the modern era, and of course the greatest triumph of them all, by Leicester.
Manchester United won 61.9 per cent of Premier League titles under Ferguson; and precisely zero since he left.
This has helped make England’s top division the best and most open in Europe. The way football has evolved in the Glazers’ time, there was a genuine chance that Manchester United could have been as dominant in the English game as Bayern Munich and Juventus became in Germany and Italy.
Instead, the club has burned through £719m in the transfer market failing to make it so.
The Glazers may have sought a closed shop, but the irony is that their stewardship has created anything but.
This is the downside of strict regulation. The biggest clubs must retain the right to be lousy decision-makers, because that brings change.
====================
I mean, what an absolute bullshit thing to write. Because fuck Man United yeah? How dare one club maximise it's potential and become the biggest and best. So a big Well Done to the Glazers, because if not for them United might have continued to be dominant. And who wants that?

This absaulte bullshit take by Samuel, I wonder if mansour payed him to write this or if the fat slop came up with this all on his own and I struggle to think which is actually worse, but I'm not going to lie but Martin Samuel will deserve everything he gets considering all the rubbish drivel he has written over the years.

So a big Well Done to the Glazers, because if not for them United might have continued to be dominant. And who wants that? 100% Someone should tell the fat slop, that the dirty money clubs have not only affected United but also merit based clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal beside the formers title win last season which would have probably come sooner if not for those dirty money at man city and Chelsea. The fat slop fails to reconize that United would have gotten firm competion from Arsenal at some point again despite the stadium move and pointnatlly some other clubs maybe Liverpool or someone else, and since he bought up Leicester I'm going to argue that their title win should not have to be a 500/1 shot I'm pretty sure when Nottingham Forrest won in 1978, that their odds back then weren't 500/1. As for the Glazers, the fat slop fails to reconize that the Glazers are the biggest danger to English football and that was proven to the world to see with the ESL fiasco, as Henry Winter just wrote 3.5.2021 in the Times "the Glazers are a bigger danger to English football than 200 Manchester United fans breaking a cordon, getting into Old Trafford" the fat slob and various other ABU media are just loving the fact that Glazer ownership has put serious break on United's pointenal for on field succes and they don't care at what cost that come whether its to United as club or the English football on the whole. I personally will not accept applogy any letter from the fat slop if the Glazers actually succeds in their quest on ruining Manchester United & English football. This all before going into the fact the Fat slop has constantly ignored/defended that there more than enough evidence to disqualifying all of the records of one of the dirty money clubs, and if digging was done into the other i'm pretty sure that enough evidence would be found to do like wise with that club.

Mark Ogden [ESPN journalist]: “This is where it gets a bit difficult for the Glazers... if their major sponsors are being targetted in social media campaigns & they start pulling out, that's when it becomes difficult for them.” #MUFC [@markogden_ via @jt786mo]

Mark Ogden [ESPN journalist]: “This is where it gets a bit difficult for the Glazers... if their major sponsors are being targetted in social media campaigns & they start pulling out, that's when it becomes difficult for them.” #MUFC [@markogden_ via @jt786mo] Said it a few weeks ago. Our sponsors are being blasted on social media, to the point where they are turning off replies. This drives traffic way down as there is no organic boosting of posts. As boring as that sounds, it’s the kind of thing that does impact them, as it impacts sales and is bad for their brand to be associated with something toxic.

Have a quick gander on Twitter. Chevrolet, Koehler, Tag Heurr and the Bucs accounts are all being overwhelmed by Utd fans. It’s marvellous.
