www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2021/may/21/anti-glazers-email-sent-to-manchester-united-staff-maguire-europa-leagueThe Guardian Manchester United Anti-Glazers email sent to Manchester United staff in new protest move Harry Maguire expected to miss Europa League final‘I don’t think we’ll see him in Gdansk,’ says Solskjaer Jamie Jackson and PA Media @jamiejackson___ Fri 21 May 2021 09.59 EDT Protests against the Glazers have been stepped up with Manchester United staff receiving an email on Friday from “The Fans” which strongly criticises the owners. The email, seen by the Guardian, was entitled NEWSLETTER #1 and is understood to have gone to numerous United employees. It said it wanted to give them a different perspective from the one they get within the club. “The briefings you receive [internally] are all very interesting but we’ll provide periodic updates giving a wider view,” the email said. Eight arrests made over racist online abuse of Tottenham player The email, which mentions the co-owners Joel and Avram Glazer in unflattering terms, centres on supporters’ main frustrations: the club debt, a perceived lack of investment in the first team and the state of Old Trafford – “as Gary Neville says the stadium is rotting”, it said. The author suggests there will be further similar communications, signing off with: “Until next time.” The move follows the targeting of United’s commercial partners via social media, and protests outside and inside Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has said he expects Harry Maguire to miss Wednesday’s Europa League final against Villarreal with an ankle ligament injury. “He’s walking but it’s a long way from walking to running so, to be honest, I don’t think we’ll see him in Gdansk, no,” United’s manager said. “But, as I’ve said so many times, I’m going to give him until Tuesday night, the last training session, and see if he can try to be out there. Steadily but surely he’s improving but ligaments they take time to heal.” Solskjær expects his captain to help the team regardless. “He’ll come, he’ll be in the dressing room, he’ll make sure everyone’s ready for the final,” he said.

Just 'spent' £700 on Cadburys and over £7000 on sun glasses! Well played, very well played Sir! I've been building my Maui Jim Basket up over the course of the week,I'm currently £31,000 I have been very concerned I might miss out on my personalised Dan James third kit so have 2,153 shirts set aside across small, medium, and large in my basket. They go nicely with 129 2XL Maguire zebra shirts.

The ad click through stuff is genius. There is literally nothing that can be done to stop it. I’ve run a script on an old laptop so it keeps clicking on a certain number of “values” all day 😂

Got an email this morning as I’d signed the petition re the review etc. Should’ve mentioned that the email came with a link to complete a short survey and a text box to include comments. Well, I’ve had a vent, so there!
The way in which certain football clubs are owned, and managed by companies and individuals who rarely even visit the club that they own cannot be fair. These owners care little for the heritage of the particular club, and care even less about the (local) fan base, often viewing them as an incumbrance ,preferring instead to concentrate on a network of world wide fans and sponsors. There is nothing wrong in that (per se) just as long as the local, UK-based fans are considered, which is not the case at the present time. This was aptly demonstrated during the European Super League (ESL) debacle earlier this year, where, at a stroke, the aforementioned club owners both here, and in Europe, arbitrarily decided to remove their particular club from their domestic league, and place them in an uncompetitive, continual round robin-type tournament, with no promotion or relegation, thus completely removing the element of competition at a stroke. Furthermore, the ‘pyramid’ where EVERY club, from the most lowly, to the highest in the land would have been excised forever, thus removing the idea of hope, and their particular clubs’ chances of success, however romantic, from millions of loyal fans. To cite Leicester City, for example, and their recent winning of the Premier League, where they competed against ALL the top clubs: This would not have happened under the proposed ESL. Further, the spurious argument that ALL clubs would’ve benefited from the introduction of the ESL was nothing more than window dressing, which, I suggest, was made after the clubs involved discovered the outright fury from fans across the whole spectrum of the game. I ,and millions of other football fans, think it high time that football was investigated properly, that (proposed) owners are thoroughly scrutinised under a Fit And Proper Person Test, and that ownership is split, per Germany, for instance, in a share-based ,equitable ownership model, thus stopping current owners from riding roughshod over their loyal supporters as is sadly the case at present.

Wel looking at the transfer thread it looks like my trips (and all the other fans) to the protests has rattled the glazers and now they seem to have found a shitload of money to spend on quality players.
We’ve not got rid of them but they are on the ropes
It’s not all down to us but it’s helped

We’ve not got rid of them but they are on the ropes It’s not all down to us but it’s helped Those protests & the social media campaign resulted in the biggest club in the having to launch their new training kit without a sponsor. That alone should be the motivation & resolve we need to keep them under the hammer! Stopping the Leeds game could be hugely significant.
