Liverpool currently set to finish third with Chelsea fourth, which would be the worst of today's potential top four scenarios. No real difference between third and fourth (or second and fourth for that matter) but still don't want them to get it.

It is Jenas on BT? Talking absolute bollocks about that decision. Filthy tackle, 100% penalty. Twat. How he can argue that isn't a penalty is beyond comprehension.

Jenas is reaching so far to claim it’s not a pen, he’s in danger of tearing a ligament.

Not flirting over to the former players thread ,leaving it here instead,so is anyone else looking forwards to the BT Sport film about George on Wednesday after the final? I know I am!

If you have McFred playing, it’s certain none of them are in the position VDB is to earn the penalty (assuming VDB is playing in Fred’s role today)

Do the CL winners qualify for next season still if they don't get in via their league?

Do the CL winners qualify for next season still if they don't get in via their league? Yep, they changed the rule to not affect fourth as well. The only scenario where fourth wouldn't get CL is if Chelsea in fifth won the CL AND Arsenal wherever they end up won the Europa League.

Coaches always say top players make those around them play at their pace. They seem to have all the time in the world to make a decision and you can't quite understand how they do it.
That's Amad.
