I know pre-season basically means fuck all beyond fitness, but Tuanzebe looks good. He should be first reserve at centre back this season, ahead of Lindelof and Bailly (or starting if God forbid we don't buy Varane or another top cb.

Add him not playing ahead of lindelof and Bailey when for as one of ole’s crimes. IMO he is much better than them and would have got better if given a proper chance. |

Axel needs a loan. He's not going to get much gametime with Maguire and Varane as our central defensive partnership. And really the main thing separating Axel from other promising young centre backs a similar age to him such as Pau Torres, Ben White, Cristian Romero etc. is gametime. They've all played far more competitive football than Axel even though Axel probably has similar or even better potential. There must be a lot of decent Premier League sides that could use someone of his ability. And then a few years down the line when Maguire and Varane are getting on a bit and can't play every game he'd have a good chance of breaking into the team or at least becoming a regular part of a squad rotation system.
