I can get varane not starting for a couple of weeks while he gets up to speed but sancho should be on the right with greenwood down the middle.

That’s a bizarre match day squad.
Matic starting is a head scratcher, unless McSauce is carrying a knock, but this is the kinda game Donny should be starting as Saints are particularly combative/physical. Sancho on the bench is a nonsense too. I understand Varane on the bench given he’s only trained with us for a week, but still.
James, Lingard AND Mata on the bench seems overkill too.

I honestly believe he's the only manager in the league who'd sign a player like Sancho and not have him start here. He got a pass last week for whatever reason but an absolute nonsense to be pulling the same shit this week.
Get your new mega talent into the starting lineup, it's not fucking rocket science.

Varane and especially Sancho not starting is very disappointing. I'll just about believe the lack of fitness excuse this week, but if it's still the case next week it's a problem with Ole and the coaching staff.
Matic starting is also a massive downer, I fear that Ward Prowse will run rings around him. But the attack with Bruno and Greenwood and Pogba is still pretty strong and we should still be winning regardless.
