Ronaldo was always going to have to be rested at some point, and we know Portugal won’t do it. I understand that.
I’m much less understanding about Martial starting over Sancho.

With Pogba being rested it would have been the perfect chance to give Donny a run out. Given that the only way he will play for us is in place or Bruno or Pogba.

Martial starting, and Sanco not, is making my blood boil. Sancho needs game time, and while he has underwhelmed so far (for various reasons already discussed), Martial has just been dogshit. |
