Get Jose back and let him do whatever the hell he wants. Which would probably be to burn everything down?

By the way, if the first act of any manager be it an interim appointment, an interim-caretaker, an interim-caretaker-we-have-no-idea-what-we-are-doing, isn't to remove Maguire as captain they're a coward. He will certainly have to earn his way into the team from now on.

Poch and Ten Hag are the top 2 targets according to Sky. Just goes to show the ongoing ineptitude of the clowns running the club in that they could’ve had a free run at Poch over a year ago.

If we don't get Zidane (who I am not fully convinced is the right choice for the obvious reasons) it will simply be because he doesn't want any job other than the france job. It won't be for a lack of trying as that's the person all parties have a tick in, and when i say all parties i mean football heads, marketing heads and owners.
I actually like enrique, love what he did at barca, like the job he has done with Spain too. He is fearless.
Rodgers is a really good manager, just wonder about the tail offs. Has a consistent style that has been evident everywhere he has been, that bodes well.
Ten Hag has plenty going for him but we are not Ajax, we do not have patient footballing people running the club and he will be walking into a club with big big names. A lot can go right and a lot can go wrong, Would hate for his growth to be stunted Moyes style

Get this...Zidane has only ever had fortunes to spend in a mostly 2 team league until recently when both Real and Barca have declined as their more recent CL results will confirm. Some say its a 3 team league but it shouldnt be.
Spanish football is different to the EPL too and as Zidane was not proven in other leagues as well as the Spanish one, he could prove to be an expensive failure. If you think differently we can and will have to simply agree to disagree. We have bigger problems than to discuss which manager is best as we can all see that the board have fudged to keep control of the purse strings at OT. What a dumb take. Zidane joined in Jan 2016. He oversaw only 2 full summers of transfer activity. Do you know how much he spent? 71 million Euros. Do you know how much they sold? 170 million Euros. From Jan 2016 to June 2018 he won 3 consecutive Champions League trophies and La Liga once. On an outlay of 70 million. The only time he spent money was in 2019, and then he promptly won the fucking league that year. AnDre viLAs BOas The dumb take is not realising that Zidane has done nothing as a manager outside of the pony Spanish league where it is a 2 horse race or should be. AVB did well as Spurs i the EPL until the board who are kind of like our board forced the sale of Gareth Bale, who AVB brought through from being a defender to a forward.
I never even said that I wanted AVB to be the next manager I just said I like him as a manager and anyway he is far better than Ole will ever be. I also mentioned Jochim Low a world cup winner just to add different names to the boring merry go round of names in the thread. None of the names in this thread are the right choice in my opinion, they are all better than Ole and Carrick but that isnt too difficult.
I would take Big Sam over most mentioned in the thread. What is clear is that the board want to be i cotrol of the purse strings at the club ad Carrick will most likely be there for a while unless we get stuffed in the next 3 games. This is very likely to happen as Carrick was a part of the problem in the first place.

I know i dont need to tell any of you lot this but what’s the point of having an interim who was a direct part of the last regimes failures. Let’s leave 1/4 of the tumor inside the patient. Brilliant. I have heard talk that Carrick had ideas that were routinely ignored by Ole. I don't know if that's a leak, speculation, or just some dickhead making stuff up on the internet (I saw it on Reddit, so it's almost certainly the latter). But I do hope it's true and that he might not be as clueless as he seems. All the talk of players being concerned by inexperienced coaches learning on the job doesn't fill me with confidence in that regard, though.

Just watching an interview with Conte on Sky. You will definitely see Spurs overachieve in the next few years. The absolute state of this club not going and getting him, when he wanted to come with only Guardiola winning more titles than him and a 0.01 % better points rate in the last 10 years!
Fucking arrogance and crass stupidity. The people who run this club have a serious case of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

If ZIdane or his other half are not keen on moving here for any length of time then what not ask him to be the interim as it’s only about 6 months and he can have the PSG or France job next summer and we can line up our long term target to take over when he leaves.
ZIdane just taking the job for a few months has to be better than carrick,Bruce or Hughes as the interim plus we will know he’s going at the end of the season come what may.

If he came in and failed, it would damage his reputation. It's a big risk for a few months work and a few million quid he doesn't need. I wouldn't do it if I was in his shoes.
