Happy to take this one on, seeing as it's a dead rubber anyway.
In two minds about the line up, on one hand you want players rested and others given a chance; on the other you want Ralf to get to know his strongest 11.
But with a lot of games coming up we really should be taking this opportunity to get the back ups in.

Elanga
Go 4-2-2-2 again, and can change to 4-2-3-1 if it suits Elanga more to be wide left with Mata through in the middle and Amad on the right.

You would hope that team would have enough to beat YB’s. Matic, Henderson and DVB are nailed on (press release) otherwise, who knows!

I can see ralf putting a few red X’s agains some of the squad fillers on show tonight.

This is ideal for getting youngsters game time and resting players before the madness of Christmas football. Obviously you never want to lose but the result is largely irrelevant. More interesting is whether the squad as a whole are grasping Ralf’s concepts.

I would love to see Alanga, Greenwood and Sancho start up front. I doubt he'll play Sancho though but he hasn't played that much football from the start and he's young
It's always a good position to be to test the squad and rest players at this stage. Varane and Cavani are back in training in the next week which is great news.

It was great to see Elanga back involved at the weekend. I think he could be Ralf’s breakout star.

Young Boys ran us silly last game so it will be interesting to see how we fair now. for a team that lacks major quality they have some rapid players and work their socks off.
it will be a dream of some of their players to play in a CL match at Old Trafford so they will be 100% at it

We’re top regardless right because of H2H? Top and second can make a huge difference.
Ronaldo really has saved us in this group. Hope he gets a well-deserved rest, comes on in the 85th minute, and scores so he’s got one in every group game this season.
