I feel like I’ve been watching the same little static triangles between a fullback a forward and a midfield on either wing for the better part of a decade. Predictable and usually ends in a shitty cross or a sideways pass into traffic and we lose the ball. Rinse and repeat. We are so far off a top side.

De Gea has saved us twice. Defence totally pulled apart.
As wank as some/most of our defenders are, there are also clear systematic issues with it that need to be sorted by a coach. We need someone with clear attacking and defensive ideals, we have no clue how to do either.
