He's offered nothing for over a year. I'd sooner give Sancho gametime or just keep the younger lads (Greenwood and Elanga) on the pitch. Rashford isn't done but he needs to be dropped to the bottom of the pecking order and work his way back up. I think he’s been horribly managed by the club personally. Not yo mention he played over 50 games in 3 out of the last 4 seasons? Has had multiple managers and had to take all that shit last summer. I get where you’re coming from but i think if we just Drop him and don’t give him more chances we’ll destroy what’s left of his confidence. He has. I'm absolutely not saying he shouldn't ever have any more chances. But he needed to be dropped, both to send a message to him and to the rest of the team, that poor performance is not rewarded. Keep him out of the first team (bar cup games and sub appearances) for a month or two, make him focus on the fundamentals in training, then re-introduce him gradually. |
