We’ve played 1 game since we sent all those players out on loan. We look like we’ve lost Sancho for some time. The fact that we’re talking about Mata even as an option shows where we are. Our two strikers are in their mid-30s, so the only thing that couldn’t be forseen is Greenwood. Any injury crisis over the next few months could absolutely have been predicted and avoided. I don’t mind the players going out as such, but you needed at least 1 body in. I think we are agreeing, we needed a CDM in and that is regardless of who left. Mata if greenwood was around would be a non issue other than the fact he is taking up money. Greenwood aswell also made the strikers ages considering their quality not really much of an issue for me though. Ah yeah totally. As I said, no issue with players going out but we needed at least one mid in.

Thinking about this the Glazers won't care about going out. Top 4 cup is all that matters.

Will they sell if share price low though ? Shares opened Jan 2018 at £20.80 at peak in Sept 18 they were £26 . They are currently £13.51 that's neary 50% lower .I'm no expert but if they wanted out wouldnt it make sense to spend a bit win a trophy and then sell when share price is high. But isn't the listed shares only part of the club ? Could someone more inteligent explain it ?

Sustained mediocrity and irrelevance will drive down commercial appeal. Less prize money and TV money will have a bit of an impact as well, but it's the commercial side that can fuck them. The debt is only manageable because of the huge revenues we bring in. If those get hit then the lenders start to get antsy.

Might as well just give them the trophy, they constantly get it easy, they’ve been lucky enough to get us a few times

I’ve defended that coach before and will continue to do so. He’s tightened things up back there from a defensive POV. I honestly don’t think anyone can coach our lot to score from them though. We either hit the first man or the ball goes straight to Maguire head who balloons it over from 3 yards out.
