We've been starved of a genuine big knockout European tie against one of the 'romantic' elite recently. Even when we weren't dreadful the last few seasons under Fergie we seemed to get duff draws and Moyes fucked a perfectly good Bayern matchup. Going to try to properly enjoy this tonight. What was the last one? I suppose Milan last season, but no crowd. Should’ve done Bayern and Real in back to back seasons under Fergie if not for poor refereeing decisions. Barcelona 08? We’ve had good results in group stage games for sure, though. |
