At halftime we were in that game, we decided to play Madrids stupid games and stopped playing properly. Yet again this lot fail the mental toughness challenge. The referee was a complete knob from the first whistle to last. Madrid wasted so much time and not once did he deliver a flurry of cards and that just gave them license to waste time. 4 minutes of extra time was terrible. |

I’m genuinely gutted with that. We were by far the better team tonight but same old story isn’t. It? Can not break teams down. I could count at least 5 players who played tonight who should have contracts terminated tonight. I mean he’s a nice man but the fact we’re chucking on Mata just shows how weak this squad is. |

Season is over in March. Gutted. We were the better team as well and it's sadly just another bad story in an awful, awful season. Everything that could have gone wrong, has. Just no luck at all. Even looking back at Elanga hitting the ball in the keepers face in the first half. Anywhere else and we are 1-0 up. Yeah, we aren't good enough, but I'm deflated as we should have done more. Not even angry. Just defelated.
In other news, Ajax are also out. Confirm ETH tomorrow.
