I think he's starting to believe is own hype, when he's on his game he's pure quality but this season he's been well off it. I disagree hard here. I think he’s been swimming against the tide that is the shit show of this club. No, he really is quite dreadful.

We’re done! My faith in this current side has now totally evaporated. Rio and Scholes were spot on earlier re the club structure. The club structure that gave their under qualified mate a job for nearly 3 years, rebranded as progress that was less than his predecessor achieved? That one ? University buddies, ex players and Fergie and co turning a blind eye to the rot, some even on the payroll. Neville only started squeaking when the Superleague happened. The clubs rotten throughout.

I’m acting like an ostrich, this is all too painful to engage with.

If I’m being honest, the ONLY reason I watched the game yesterday was Ronaldo. I think this really was the last time we’ll get to see him play for us in the Championship League.
Whoever comes next to manage us has one heck of a job. Too many of the players in the team are either not good enough or too old to count on. Probably needs to replace around 12 players. With what I’m guessing will be a 50-60mil pound budget. Fucking hell.

Fred was easily our most creative player last night. Bruno was more interested in fighting with the referee last night than playing football.

LOL I think Smithy is talking about Ronaldo and you're talking about Bruno?

I can't believe how unbothered I feel about getting knocked out of the champions league. My brain keeps saying at least city can't knock us out now.
Every time we meet a semi decent team it looks like seasoned pros versus boys. They got one up shut up shop and used every shithouse trick in the book and since we lost herrara we dont know how to do that.
On bruno I think he has just realised he has little chance of winning trophies with us so Has just thought fuck it.

No, he really is quite dreadful. Is this sarcasm? About Bruno? No. He is so poor and ineffective. On the match ... I went. I've barely been all season and in all honestly didn't fancy this one either. Wanted to see a Simeone team in the flesh; realistically this could be the last European Cup tie we see for a long, long time. Too many bluffers, too many passengers. The too few good players we do have to expend more effort trying to drag the absolute dross around them up to just adequate than in actually playing winning football. It's a minor miracle we aren't lower, mid-table in the League. There are no ideas, is no discernible plan or final destination we're travelling to. The entire club is drifting and drifting and drifting. Like many I have been becoming increasingly apathetic in recent seasons but last night ripped the heart out of me all over again. We were never in it. Atleti played the exact same game that they always do; we looked okay playing with largely unchallenged possession but created little. Meanwhile waiting for their goal that we, inevitably, would not recover from. Everyone just knew the script. I don't know where we go from here. It has been hopeless before but this is absolutely Hopeless. We need a change of ownership that isn't coming, we need a colossal overall of the squad that won't happen. We are fucked.

Worst thing about last night, that wasn't even the nadir of the season. We probably still have that to come with a colossal pasting at Anfield and then Arsenal securing a CL spot against us, at their gaff. Eurgh!

It's done now, not looking for another Manchester united inquisition on what went wrong.
What i want is for Rangnick to now show some authority and sense, there is one thing to play for and that is 4th, whether anyone likes it or not, wants it or not, it's simply a fact that is the only target left this season.
I expect Bruno to play where he does the most damage (no.10), I want Sancho on the right, elanga left if Rashford can't be bothered. Matic/Mct/Fred vying for no.6 and no.8 position. Dalot rb, whoever LB, Varane with Lindelof or Bailly (Maguire back in the academy). Don't want to see mata, pogba or lingard kick a ball until 4th is secured thus they can say bye bye.
It's all about Ralf separating wheat from the chaff now if he doesn't then he is reflective of the the last decade, talk the walk and forget the walk!

I think we can safely say Rashford can't be bothered, he needs sold in the summer, absolute dogshit.

Rob Blanchette @_Rob_B · 10m What Rangnick has proved is you can give these #MUFC players modern tactics, and they simply can't do their jobs effectively or consistently. Blaming the interim coach for the team's lack of character & bravery is ridiculous & inaccurate. #MUNATL
