The fact that Arsenal have chosen to completely bottle it again and we’re fucking nowhere near to capitalise just shows how little most of this mob give a fuck.
They’ve taken the earliest possible opportunity to be “on the beach”. Honestly, it’s the type of mentality you see from fucking Newcastle squads over the last twenty years. Clubs that are in a complete mess fill themselves with characters like this.
The irony being Newcastle will be better than us next season too.

I do wonder if they deliberately waited until he was snapped up before sacking Ole or they were caught off guard with Spurs swooping in and did consider him an option if it got worse . We sacked Solskjaer around 3 weeks after Spurs nabbed Conte which was really odd. |

We should be praying for a midtable finish because that would probably shock even the Glazers into sanctioning a huge transfer budget for ETH and agreeing to a fire sale.
I don't think it is as simple as saying the players have downed tools and do not care.
I think for some time we have had an incredibly mediocre team with a few star players such as Bruno, Rashford and occasionally Pogba who made the difference and papered over a lot of the cracks.
Problem this season is our star players aren't showing up and that exposes the mediocrity that surrounds them.

The only players we have I think genuinely care whether they win, lose or draw are Dave, Varane (you don't win everything he's won without having fight and pride), McTominay, Fred (he seems to give a shit), Bruno and Ronaldo. Jones when he plays but that never happens. Argument for Sancho maybe but I don't really see much of it to be honest.
The rest are absolute wasters who can just fuck off. We need every single one of them out the club, never mind them thinking they'll start performing if/when things improve. It's going to be a long, long process; because at this point we need, at an absolute minimum, 2 new centre backs, 2 new full backs, 3 new midfielders, 2 new wide players, and 2 new forwards. Just to get close to having a squad that can compete. And with the twats in charge it'll take about 9 windows to sign the players we need.
