Got tickets despite the usual terrible system. West Ham, Brentford and Everton. Will go in the ballots for a few others too.

I definitely feel that Fulham at home on the last day of the season will be pivotal in our race for 8th place.

They should be bringing back the ballot for every game 6 weeks before. Suppose it helps, getting quick cash for those dividends.

Mine and (I think) Rustin's birthday is ruined Yep, gonna be a dreadful day. Though with any luck it gets moved to the 21st.

They said they'd do an 8 weeks before one this year, but it'll only have about 100 tickets or something stupid I bet.

It's a good question mate. I struggle with this a lot. Ultimately, as much as I hate them, I still love going to Old Trafford and watching us play. The place is decrepit, the food is awful, and often the football's worse - but I love this club to death and seeing them live remains one of the things I most look forward to in life. As I said earlier, it was a special case, but Ronaldo's homecoming vs. Newcastle is my favourite moment at the stadium, coming in probably our worst season in my lifetime. My personal compromise is to try and support protest efforts where I can, and also refuse to buy anything from the club other than the tickets (and probably a pie at the stadium, I get hungry). I just can't not go altogether, not yet, I love watching the game too much - but huge respect to all those who do stay away no matter how much it pains them.

Very good first game IMO. Brighton play good football so I'd be interested to see how we play against a team like that.

I personally wouldn’t drop money into those thieves’ pockets at all.

Difficult eat in any other setting than at a table imo.
