Second half review
First time watching Malacia and he looks a solid player with loads of potential.
Zidane Iqbal has all the attributes to be a top class player.
Diallo underwhelming which is a shame.
Chong putting himself in the shop window
Laird no worse than AWB, no better than Dalot - in this game
Telles our worst player can’t wait to see Martinez in there
And best of all Rashford looking much sharper than last season

A couple of things that have stood out for me in the two games.
Bruno looks like the player we had a few years ago.
Rashford and Martial scoring is a big plus. They both look sharp and are working hard.
Sancho is world class and looks ready to prove it.
Laird should be given the start next game to see if he can nail the position. Alongside that oaf at CB, it’s our biggest weakness, given CM is being addressed.
Zidane has that rare quality of playing the game at his own speed and always looks to have time.
As a whole, we actually look like we have a plan when we go out on the pitch now, as opposed to the last few years when it was hit and hope. Ten Hag seems to know exactly what he wants and how to achieve it. It may take time but it finally looks like we have serious football people back in the building. He seems keen to offer bollockimgs from the sidelines too which is good to see.
We may start to resemble a proper football club again soon. Baby steps but there is hope.

Watched the first 70 mins so missed the last two goals...
Maguire really is a donkey...we need to bench him for the rest of the season...Lindelof isn't a proper CB for us...much prefer Bailly...
Pretty much any other CB in the world would have cut off the cross for their goal...
Sancho looking much better and our biggest threat...
Still not convinced about a Bruno return to form but prepared to give him time...
Liked Savage and Iqbal...definitely better than McFred...
Want to see more from Amad...
Martial looked pretty sharp...nice to see...wish he would smile...
But great that football is back...

Best player on the pitch against Liverpool's best team. Yes, he should go because he can't stay fit. But to highlight him from the last 2 games, find something better to do, like the real problems. Our Captain, who Did cost us a goal, though not his fault some cunt spread treacle all over the only bit of the pitch he occupied. |
