Varane should have been on that pitch from second 1

I have to say, nothing that ETH has done since he got here has been impressive. He’s:
(i) foolishly and naively pursued FDJ when everyone on this board could have told him there was no chance of it happening;
(ii) had no plan B in place if/when FDJ just laughed at us contemptuously;
(iii) only seems to know footballers he’s worked with, or played in his previous (farmers’) league;
(iv) continued to pick Maguire, McFred, Shaw; and
(v) hasn’t spoken out when it’s obvious the club has no ambition except to enrich the Glazers, and give pivotal roles to talentless fucks like Arnold and Murtaugh.
All in all, and I know it’s early days and I know he created a successful and attractive Ajax side, but there’s nothing to suggest he’s capable of this challenge at United, be it technically, commercially or strategically. Admittedly few people are, but Conte would have been infinitely better suited IMHO.
