You can kiss January transfers goodbye..................
Murtough continued "During the summer, we made significant investment in the first team squad with the permanent addition of five regular starters, including a balance of experienced international players and younger, emerging talent. We also saw a higher-than-usual number of departures, and this was an equally important part of refreshing the squad after the disappointing 2021/22 season. We will continue to support Erik in ensuring he has players with the right quality and characters to achieve success, while ensuring that investment remains consistent with our commitment to financial sustainability. Overall, we are ahead of schedule in our recruitment plans as envisaged at the start of the summer, and we do not anticipate the same level of activity in future windows. As always, our planning focuses on the summer window."

Bit of chatter we're prioritising Vanderson at Monaco.

Bit of chatter we're prioritising Vanderson at Monaco. Good. As much as I like Dalot this kid could be next level. The kind who joins Real and we’re pissed off for a decade that we didn’t get him.

This guy has started the season on fire. Another goal tonight, for the Dutch.

If we could have 3 transfers in January personally I’d go for a Rb, competition for Eriksen and Gakpo (can play striker or left, happy for him to stay at PSV for the rest of the season if Ronaldo stays).
If I could get rid of players, it would be: Fred, Maguire, AWB, Williams, Jones

Excuse me whilst I vomit. Pickford would be a peak Glazer signing. World record transfer for a goalkeeper incoming.

Excuse me whilst I vomit. Yeah that's awful, but regarding De Gea's contract, he's on far too much. Need to offer him a reduction when it's time and if he doesn't accept, he goes.

I’m sure it’s BS but Pickford? Can the media ever discuss a transfer speculation without linking us to an overhyped British player in that position? Bellingham being the exception.

I'd rather we signed Dubravka on a permanent deal than overspend on an over rated Keeper.
