Solksjaer destroyed his career. You can't play as little football aa van de Beek has at his age and not suffer for it. 100% this. Ole brought him in and had no idea how to use him. Aye and he's played under 2 managers since and produced nothing. Only so much can be blamed on a manager we sacked 12 months ago.

Away from home we are not good enough yet to not be playing an extra ball winner in midfield with Casemiro and Erikson. Don't understand playing Van der Beek.

He's been awful in every one of them. He was poor in his spell at Everton aswell towards the end of last season. It's just unfortunate some players don't seem to fit. Sancho is going the same way aswell. They just don't produce the same level here as they've done elsewhere for whatever reason.

And with being light upfront we have to control midfield because if we give up 2 goals we are fucked.

Has anyone suggested to Dalot that there is a way to stop battering the ball into touch every time he crosses?

Jammy, but let’s see where it takes us.

There's one. Don't deserve it but fuck it. It's a start. Given ourselves a chance at least.

I’m watching this on an appalling river. It seems like around the 35 minute mark Casemiro said ‘fuck this’ and decided to take over the match. We’ve battered them since and actually would be value for a draw.

I don’t think it’s wise coming to firm judgments on a player who’s had the “privilege” of playing under Ole and Lampard. Allowing ten Hag to work with him and trying to salvage a previously brilliant young player is the right approach. The same can be said for Sancho who is already being written off. We all just need to look at Dalot and realize the error of coming to sweeping conclusions of players. Some need more time or just need to be built up again after being torn down by incompetent managers.
