Genuinely don’t know what you watched then. He gave the ball away countless times and panicked under pressure which could have led to a goal on at least one occasion. We won despite Maguire. I said he did "quite well". Which in my opinion by his standards, he did. We kept a clean sheet and he played his part. Suck it up. |

Just seen ETH’s post-match interview with Sky, he makes ALL the right noises and is proving himself to be an extraordinarily good manager ,his reading of the game when for instance making substitutions is uncanny.
Also just watched Ayling being interviewed post-match, despite being an absolute clogging twat throughout the game he comes across as softly spoken and quite a decent bloke.
Scum nonetheless!

As soon as Martinez came on we were much better. Passing between the two CB’s was so slow and ineffective before that. Shaw carries much more threat than Malacia at LB, as we saw with the assist. Malacia wouldn’t get into that position or play that pass. Plenty of time for him to improve though.
Any win against them bastards should be celebrated.

Malacia is 23 years old and just doesn’t have the skillz or mindset to battle for the starting job. Not to pick on him as the only glaring weakness we have with the squad because our RB side needs to be revamped too…. |
