This will put us 8 points clear of Newcastle in fourth (though annoyingly their GD is still seven better than ours), having played one game more. Three points behind City (both played 24), five behind Arsenal (they have a game in hand).

Lindelof's been surprisingly good this second half as well.
The entire team in the second half actually. Those half time tweaks worked wonders.

sabitzer showing what kind of midfielders we need in there to step up when the likes of casemiro or eriksen need a break. not particularly world class, but steady and consistently good. exactly what mctominay and fred are not. sabitzer has been a very good loan signing so far.

De Gea still MOTM for me if he keeps a clean sheet. The game would be hugely different if we were (deservedly) two down after 30 minutes. The first was massively against the run of play and forced them to try and be more front-footed second half instead of shredding us on the counter, in turn meaning we could shred them on the counter. None of that happens if he doesn't make two wonder saves, instead they keep doing what they were doing and we very possibly lose or draw like the Leeds game.
