What a fucking cock up. It's unlucky playing with 10 and 2 own goals, but it should have been 4-0 before any of that. We have to go to Spain without Rashford, Bruno, Martinez and maybe Varane and Shaw. Our record there isn't exactly great as it is.
Fucking hell. We were cruising.

Manager’s overly confidence subs set the mindset there. Was making subs like we were 5 up and had it won. At the point of the subs it's pretty comfortable yes they had a bit more of the ball, but nobody thought that would be the outcome. The subs wasn't the problem imo, malacia was shite all game and it was no surprise that goal came from him, and then the less said about the second the better.

To be clear, that was not bad luck. It was abysmal management.

Sancho needed replacing as he wasn't doing anything, and martial has only just came back and we have no rashford, it's no wonder martial came off, the bigger issue and it's what we all know is the lack of quality on the bench in the first place.

Just feel like I’ve been slapped in the face. Malacia was tragic…. Absolutely tragic.

Honestly don't agree mate, Antony hit the post which would have been three and malacia should have scored too, that would have been four, the game was there for the taking with out without the subs imo

The subs seemed more about tossing on fresh legs vs any actual tactical thought. Like the kind of thing you do on FM when all your players are on red.

But why replace him with Elanga? Barely even plays these days. Surely Pellestri can have a go on that side?

It was still 2-0.

Total shite that from ETH. He did not need to make all of those subs particularly Fernandez, who was going to miss the next leg. Totally disrupted it with 3 subs and the forced Maguire sub already.
Our full backs are bad too, you can't play from the back with them or control the game. Malacia is really crap all round not at this level for me in play or defending
