Think I'm 100% for matchday threads this season.
Probably a pivotal game in our season, fail to progress here and lose Sunday and we could end up with a very disappointing season. Win, and it's choo-choo all the way to the final, IMO.

We rarely make it easy for ourselves, but still think we have more than enough to beat this lot.

We need to take our chances. Simple really.

Even with our injuries we should still have enough to beat this lot.

In the aftermath of last weeks game i said no chance but now i've calmed down and with Rashy back etc. i feel like we'll do this, will be a tricky game though, the crowd will be up and they'll be cheating like fuck, need a strong ref.

They got two extremely lucky deflections to score it should be more or less over but we let them back in with some slack play and very poor substitutions, their tails will be up at first we have to keep the crowd quiet calm it down and take our chances, a tough game this but doable.

should be winning this without Rashford. Rather he is fully ready to go for Brighton which is not gonna be an easy game. Sabitzer I imagine we just didn't take the risk on the weekend so he will be fully good to go. Like Bestie said, take the damn chances, if we do that we should wrap this one up in the first half

Yeah Brighton and Manchester City aren't easy opponents in the FA Cup especially with our two best centre backs ruled out for the rest of the season. So I think we have a better chance in this competition even if we still need to play six more games to win it!
Sucks that we don't have an advantage going into the second leg especially with a second choice central defence and no Bruno or Rashford. But Eriksen was very good at the weekend and should create lots of chances. Casemiro gives our defence some protection. Martial will be available and has been good this season when he's been available for selection. Antony is in good form. And they are bottom half of La Liga and really not a very good side at all without any of the star quality we have even with all the absences. So no excuse really not to finish the job Thursday night.
But as Bestie pointed out we need to take our chances and avoid silly mistakes. We need to control the game and be patient and over 90 minutes we should be able to beat them.

Good as he is Varane is a one or two games in then two or three out injured, not sure what his latest issue is but we desperately need a young powerful CB in the summer.

Don't see how anyone can see that as a + ,we are hardly blessed in that dept & squad is severely stretched as it is.
