Not sure what the issue is, we know the squad is crap, All wins at this point in the season welcome, however they come we take it. Once the sale is through and we get some real players in the summer we can talk about performances Nailed it. |

Need to win 3 of last 6 to guarantee champions league football. If this was January I wouldn’t be concerned, but we have a tricky run of fixtures and the next two will be telling on whether we’re going to have an uncomfortable run in with the scousers suddenly finding some form.

After Brighton away, West Ham & Bournemouth away and Wolves at home should be 9 points with 2 games to spare before the cup final. If we do need those 2, they're both at home (vs. Chelsea and Fulham). We definitely should be getting over 9 points from those TBH. |

If we can’t do 2W 3D 1L in the remaining 6 games then we don’t deserve CL football. If we don’t have new owners who would fund at least 4 new signings then there is no point making the CL anyway

He had a go at bruno for giving away the ball in the last minute.
bruno had a go at sancho in the game and was told to stop moaning.
says it all about the mentality of some players in this squad.

Home form should secure top 4, we've been outstanding at OT all season, and being out the Europa League just helps get a little rest between games.
Away games are tricky but we should be OK to get at least 4 points, so if we can pick up 7 at home, then that's that. Would be on 74 points and Liverpool's max is 71; and as already mentioned previously, we don't deserve Champions League if we can't see off the remaining games against teams currently 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th in the league.

3 points banked and an enjoyable game to watch, even with gritted teeth when we couldn’t finish them off.
Shout out to the defence which put in a shift.
I really thought we should have had a penalty when Rashford was shoved in the back. Upper body strength from the chest or shoulder is one thing, but a push with an arm? A while later Malacia conceded a free kick for doing similar without using his hands, where’s the consistency?

Good win that! I only saw most of the first half because I was in a freezing river! We pressed well and won a lot of tackles and ball high up the pitch in that first half, but final passes and touches kept letting us down.
Nearly a dream result with the dippers and Spurs drawing then Jota, who really should have been off the pitch last second!
I can't believe, we won't get 9 points from 18 and that's if the dippers win every game, but would love to have it done with a couple of games to spare and some good prep and rotation for the cup final!

I think we should be happy with 4 points from the Spurs and Villa game. Our makeshift defence did well to keep a clean shift and it was reassuring to see Casemiro back to his old self and Lindelof and Shaw are forming a very good partnership.
I'm reasonably confident we will get the job done with a game or two to spare. Erik rushed Rashford back from injury and he still doesn't quite look right but once he is fully fit he will start scoring again which will help and Bruno continues to be in good form. All our remaining games are against midtable or lower table teams and Eriksen will be very useful in these games and come into his own with his ability to pull the strings in midfield.
Annoying that Garnacho is insisting on being released for international duty. It would be nice to have him available as an impact sub if we run into problems in the last few games of the season. Sancho continues to offer absolutely nothing.
Anyway we should be aiming for a total in the mid 70s which I think would be pretty respectable especially given the issues we've had upfront, the injury to Eriksen, and losing our first choice CB partnership. We still have 3rd place to play for and I think it should be a point of pride for us to finish above Newcastle.
