Good performance overall, again without an actual CF. Enjoyed the game and excited to see how we get on WITH a striker, though not expecting miracles from the lad, just hoping.

The annoying and frustrating thing is that front 4 has so many goals between them it would be frightening if they weren't so wasteful. Hopefully Hojlund coming in will help remedy that. But this season seeing goals really should not be an issue with what we have at our disposal.

Just watched the highlights on YouTube ,front three looked quick and bright ,wasted a few chances ,a MASSIVE fluff from Mason ,Antony looking more settled ,Marcus too,but the unquestionable star of the show was young Ron……. Apologies ,a Freudian slip,but man alive!

Going to the game tomorrow in Dublin. The club completely fucked us over by sliding in today's friendly, 2 weeks AFTER the Bilbao game at the Aviva had sold out in a matter of minutes. Tickets weren't cheap either. Sly hoodwinking wankers. Means we will be watching Maguire and McFred now tomorrow instead.

Absurd narrative that he’s to blame. his game is so insanely direct and forward. i've rarely seen a player who 99% of the time looks to play a forward pass and immediately start an attack. yeah it doesnt always work out and it can lead to missplaced passes in dangerous areas but i'd rather have that, instead of someone not taking any risks. and he just works his socks off on both ends of the pitch. some of his vision and passes yesterday were crazy. all the attacking players immediately start their runs as soon as bruno receives it, since he tends to not keep the ball for long but just release the strikers with a pass. |
