Us announcers backing var saying Maguire was offside when cross came in and he is actively involved in play and defender would have got,there if Maguire hadn’t got in front of him. Seems like they are grasping at straws to defend refs

I didn't expect us to suddenly play brilliant, but it was a bit better. That VAR decision is just a joke taking 4 minutes to make that decision. We need the result and that goal makes this game totally different obviously. The home team have to come at us more and that suits us.
You need the breaks and this is just fucking terrible to have to go through that bollocks again.
