Erik is looking pretty dumb shifting Alvaro Fernandez. Dalot has been an absolute disaster as 4th choice left back. Reguilon cannot seem to stay fit. No idea what has happened to Malacia. And Shaw has always had the tendency to pick up injuries. Scholes commented that it is a common theme that we crumble after we concede. I'd also add we have a tendency to crumble when decisions go against us. We really need some senior players to step up and show some leadership qualities. Bruno has to be the worst captain we've ever had. And neither Maguire nor Varane seemed capable of organising our makeshift defence.

Let’s face it, he chose to strip Maguire of the captaincy (correct) ignore Varane’s injury record and ignored the CH position while bringing back free agent Jonny Evans. Now Maguire starts every game with his PR team always on call for action. Since De Gea has left we’re no better, in fact worse . All on him. I can’t defend him really. Master of his own downfall. In hindsight it hasn't worked is always easier. The problem is there were too much overrated mediocrity throughout he couldn't get rid of or replace. There are also key players like Varane and Casemiro who are past it! They weren't the players he wanted. He didn't want to keep Maguire or bring in Evans. Onana can't peform to his obvious ability with that back four or that midfield! They are utter shite at playing out from the back. They don't have the skills or the training to play that way and so it was a question of do you change the keeper or the players in front. Onana is not the problem, it's what's in front of him that is. Mount was the biggest mistake, because he's the biggest cost and has added nothing. That outlay contributed to ending up with a player like Amrabat Mount and Antony are his biggest mistakes so far, because we could have added in other areas. He's been really unlucky though with Sancho and Greenwood. You need proper planning to turn out practically a whole squad of expensive players on huge salaries and it will take time. It's chaos because there is no real experience or plan behind him. It's the same for every single manager that has come in and been turfed out after 2 years on average. It's impossible to build anything that way.

Just watched the extended highlights.
Bit of a kick in the nuts that tbh, we were playing lovely stuff and cruising until the red - then a casual 13 minutes of added time in which we crumbled.
With the score at 2-3 after Bruno's penalty it would have been a job well salvaged.
Two defensive debacles to lose the game.

That's just down to bad luck. There's nothing to suggest keeling Fernández would have gone any differently with our luck.

To be fair to him Maguire actually deserves to be starting every game atm. PR team or not. We want players playing that put the effort in. He's one of very few over the last few weeks that have exactly done that, its not his fault the rest are half arsing it. He still needs replacing but I'd be choosing him over any of our centre backs right now, either not fit enough or not good enough. I'll give the guy credit he's had a lot of shit (mostly justfied) and has come back stronger, far too many players these days have a piss weak mentality. This is the mentality half of these players needs to be paying attention to instead of sulking because they're not getting their own way.

If it was Rasmus who got the red instead of Rashford, a lot of people would be saying it’s not a red. If my Aunty had bollocks. Please be quiet, you tedious man, and stop replying to my posts. You don’t need to counter any opinion that goes against what you think- I too let a lot of your drivel pass by without bothering. I have no agenda against Rashford. I couldn’t care less about any fucker playing in this team. Your overprotectiveness makes me wonder - did you breastfeed him by chance? I’ll reply to what I want to reply to, thanks. It’s a forum. If you don’t understand or if you have an issue with the principles of how a forum works, you’re quite capable of simply not logging into one.

Do you also wander around parties interrupting everybody’s conversations and arguing with them as well? Probably then tell them not to come to the party if they don’t want to hear your shit? Lmao how sad.

Wow, so the newspapers reporting when it comes to the scouse, one even headlining "Klopp robbed again"
No such sympathy for our gaffer or our players after we've been stitched up time and again this season!
Not making excuses for us as they've not tried a leg in a lot of games but they must be finding it hard to pick themselves up when we're constantly sucker punched by shite decisions! And because of our seemingly favourable decisions in the past under Fergie and refs supposedly being "in our pocket" we have no right to complain now! frustrating.....

Don’t you love it when the ref is reassuring the player. Almost like “ don’t worry lil bro I got you , you’ll be ok.”
