I think I read somewhere (maybe here?) that the players communicated that they didn't like him saying they "didn't follow the rules" after every defeat, hence the idiotic drivel he now comes out with.

The good thing is with sjr coming in and changing the club, clearing all the debt we should be able to pump shit loads in to new players and fully overhaul the club, oh wait a minute it's going to be exactly the same, the rats have well and truly pulled a fast one here, got over 1 billion off some loon for 25% of a rotten apple.

Let’s say things as they are:
1. ETH reached the point of no return about 2 months ago, once the level of toxicity around the club reached a certain threshold no one post-Fergie managed to recover - even if they were given a bit more time, it always ended the same way and it will end the same way for him. Doesn’t matter if you want him gone or not, he’s done.
2. Talking about wanting him gone or not, I’m in the camp of people who couldn’t care less. No manager can ACTUALLY succeed here (success=win the league again) before major changes happen in structure and money is invested intelligently. Maybe this will change with SJR maybe it won’t, but no one can succeed at the club today.
3. If there’s one thing that as a club we must learn from the day after ETH (and for when we hopefully have proper football people in charge) is that the manager can’t be the person calling the transfer shots. He plays a role in them, but he is part of a system rather than the person building the system.

He's putting 1.25 billion on for a 1/4 of the club, he's paid massively over the odds, so I would definitely be asking questions, actually come to think about he will fit absolutely perfectly in to the club paying a massively inflated price for a load of crap, pretty much like we do on every single transfer. |

Grotesque display from the senior players honestly and this one of the biggest problems I have with this squad. Not one true leader among the lot of them... your up and coming star player makes a rookie mistake and you leave him to suffer alone. You had the debut player picking him up after giving up the 2 v 1 goal. |
