First game in 9 days and a week's worth of training, so this should be a comfortable win with us playing some decent football. Therefore it'll be a shite game and we'll struggle to an unconvincing win.

Whatever team he puts out should win comfortably, Wigan are on the fringe of a relegation battle in league one. Whoever plays has to run hard, fight for every ball and look as if they are trying, stop falling over and looking for the ref to intervene then keep it up in every game for the rest of the season.
This is one game where we should create a hatful of chances for whoever plays upfront, so no excuses.

Only one competitive premier league game in January, so we should be putting out a full team here to get some momentum, especially with that forward line Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho. They need to be playing together as much as possible
We should have nearly key players back everyone back by Feb 1. We are going to need a massive turn in form and a big run in the second half to achieve anything

Hojlund is starting upfront, he should get plenty service tonight so lets hope he holds up his part with top quality movement and he gets a Hat trick.
Rashford is in at the start too so we should be looking for a hatful of goals tonight.
The main thing besides lots of goals from open play is I want to see the players playing as though it is a champions league final, not coasting and playing to the match officials with Bruno muttering sweet nothings in the refs ear all game.

yay... Mainoo left on an island to control the middle field while McT runs around trying to play striker. Wigan are going to be chomping at the bit knowing they will have a open hole to run at our defense

Plenty of service from who exactly? Bruno never passes to him. Rashford is always looking to shoot. Garnacho's end product is still a bit inconsistent. Mainoo will have his hands full trying to prevent our midfield getting overrun while Scotty is only good for the occasional pot shot.
Still we will probably scrape a win and Erik will then give a press conference saying that it represents progress and he is turning the season around.
