We need to give Amrabat a proper run in the side when he is back from the AFCON. I don't think Casemiro can play the CDM role the way he did last season and is probably best used higher up the pitch. The problem is that Amrabat has been unremarkable and generally shite. He should be sent back to Italy and we should be looking at younger midfielders with world class potential this summer.

Yeah sell Casemiro. Enjoy watching Mctominay start every game then. Honestly it’s like some never learned anything from the De Gea situation. 🤦🏼♀️ what does Casemiro have to do with with DDG. situations completely different unless I am missing something He’s still our best midfielder. We need to buy an upgrade to play alongside him. Still probably got another 1-2 years in him yet imo. Unless you’re thinking reducing the wage bill in the same way they did with De Gea benefits anyone other than the Glazers. Mainoo needs influence from quality not Amrabat and Mctominay alongside him. We also shouldn’t be playing him every game either. Flogging players at a young age benefits nobody. Cas is actually younger than De Bruyne btw. Yet no one is suggesting his legs have gone.

He's not been great. But before he got injured and went off to AFCON he was finding his feet a little and giving our midfield better balance. He is a stop gap and obviously we will send him back to Italy in the summer. But considering that Scotty is all over the place, Eriksen has no legs, and Casemiro seems off the pace and disinterested, he is probably our best option this season. And he is having a decent AFCON so should come back match fit and ready to go.
It was a bit difficult for him this summer as he was left in limbo over the move and didn't join us until end of the window and then picked up occasional injuries that affected his integration into the squad.
But he is a decent CDM and that is what we need and what we have been missing this season

I wouldn’t be rushing Casemiro out the door. He’s still a class act.

Case still good enough , problem is with the manager and his crazy tactics leaving him exposed in the midfield.
We got bigger issues to deal with before shifting the likes of Varane and Casemiro.

Rashford and Antony earn about the same as Case and Varane give or take.
I know which two I'd keep.

If Rasmus manages to score 15 goals this season in this team, with that service, it will be an astonishing effort. I think I read somewhere that 6 of his 8 goals this season have come unassisted. mind boggling if this is accurate

Either Ten Hag is not clear in his instruction or they are simply ignoring him , whichever it is we have an issue to sort.

When do you ever see Anthony get his head up? I think you're right though, there doesn't seem to be any consequences.

This is more to the point, most of them haven't got the ability to make the pass, they see the run but often chose the safe pass and go sideways, until we get some really good technical players who can pass and move at ease and see the forward passes then Rasmus is screwed

sorry but all this Cas is still good talk don't wash with me, if the Saudi's come in with serious cash, he should be sold. He has been poor and injured this season, can't see him hitting the heights of last season. I am not going to go down the road of reinvest the money simply because the football side is not being run by mugs anymore so it's a given we will replace him and with the right player.
Also sick and tired of comparing poor players with even poorer players, that's not a benchmark for anything but failure

All i read is the same talk, get rid of these players before these players....... If they aren't the level needed, get rid of them all and start afresh, the standard of excellence needs strong foundations and that will come from players that not only talk the talk but also walk the walk.

Genuinely don't agree with anything you have said other than Mainoo requiring quality influence, but it's your opinion so fair enough.
