Good win and performance again like the first half against Wolves, but an absolute nightmare with Martinez.I hope it isn't too bad, but he looks like he's out for the season now and he's makes a huge difference with that settled back four. Dalot was excellent yesterday, with all the headlines elsewhere.

We are Definitely a different proposition when we have our best players available. Not once did it seem like we would crumble.
Maguire was the only threat to us yesterday as he was beaten numerous times only to be bailed out by Martinez. Good thing Vic is back.

Just loves defending.

Licha out for 6-8 weeks is a huge blow. We just can't enjoy nice things can we.

He's actually been decent since returning to the side but yesterday he let them in twice easily where better strikers would have taken advantage. Relying a lot on Varane to stay fit now.

He needs to see this as a opportunity to show ETH that he needs to be considered as 1 or the 2 CB's

Then he needs to impress in training, but ETH also needs to pull his head out of his arse and try something different other than Antony and the CB's we are stuck with

I actually thought it was worse than it is. 8 weeks out is a nightmare just when we were looking good again, but at least there's no surgery required for a knee injury which can be career threatening. I suppose even if he gets back for the last two months it could help us

www.theguardian.com/football/2024/feb/05/manchester-united-lisandro-martinez-knee-injury-marchManchester United hope Lisandro Martínez will be fit to return at the end of March after establishing that the injury which forced the defender off against West Ham was not an anterior cruciate ligament tear as feared. Martínez has sustained an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee and will not require surgery. The aim at United is to have him back after next month’s international break meaning he will miss at least seven games; that will rise to eight if the team make it to the FA Cup quarter-finals. In a statement released on Monday the club said: “Lisandro has sustained an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his knee and is expected to be out of action for at least eight weeks.” Although the news is better than it appeared to be when Erik ten Hag said on Sunday that the injury “seems bad” and was a “disaster” for Martínez, it continues a difficult season for the Argentina international.
