Guys, how good is Kobbie going to be?
I read that he's the first player since Rooney to completely skip playing for the England u/21s and go straight into the senior side.
Potentially/almost certainly a generational talent.

No disrespect to anyone but this Generational talent term makes me uneasy 😂 he's clearly got class and hopefully will go on to be world class but lets not get too ahead of ourselves
But to clarify, i love watching the kid, he's been a breath of fresh air and has put most senior players to shame.......fuck it...the kids world class!! GENERATIONAL TALENT!

The test is what happens when the money starts rolling in. We are rumoured to be preparing a contract extension that will triple his salary. He's in line for a Nando's sponsorship deal and he's very marketable because he's squeaky clean and young and English and super talented. People will start to latch on to him and want to be part of his entourage. Girls will throw themselves at him.
Hopefully the people around him will keep him grounded and he will stay focused on his football and fulfilling his massive potential. But it is still going to be a challenge for him just like it is with every wunderkind these days as you get too much too soon before you've properly made it and are old enough and mature enough to handle it all.

He'll be fine. His family are some of the nicest, most down to Earth people I've met. His sister, especially, won't allow anything above to happen.

I think he has all elements to be a world class player the question will be can he string it together over the course of a season or two. then we can objectively answer the question. I'm excited to see him and Nacho/Hojlund grow together

Despite everything, that’s brilliant for Mainoo. Garnacho came 6th apparently.
