Until we get some strong, quick, athletic centre halves we’ll never play the way Erik wants us too, they sit about 20 yards too deep from the midfield, the disconnect is unbelievable

Bruno undoubtedly likes a dive etc but he didn’t dive there, he was stood still and Gomez flew in to the back of him, don’t care who you are you’ll go over when that happens, he’s had to knock him off balance before he could get to the ball, might be soft but still a foul When you go down soft, again and again and again, every now and then you get bitten. The officials said no foul and I agree with them, I would want the goal at the other end if one of their players went down so easily. We still have home advantage and have 45 mins to put it right. Have you ever posted anything other than negatives about Utd on here? Genuine question. |

He should be stronger, there's always a chance you're not going to get a decision. If he plants himself then he has to knock him over properly. Players are going over so easily now. I'm worried we'll get rinsed 2nd half. Liverpool are tailor made for the counter attacking game. As Kojak said, it’s not about being stronger, it’s about getting fouled or not. He was fouled. Gomez got a proper foot on the ball. Had he protected it properly, it would have been. I've seen it a few times now and with the inconsistencies in these referees, that decision doesn't surprise me. |
