A reminder, we didn’t even qualify for this competition on league position.

We should really just ask Ole if he wants the caretaker job until INEOS decide on our next manager. He'd probably say yes. And at least he'd be able to harness our counter attacking ability which is about all that certain players in this squad are any good at. He at least got us to the Europa League final and semi-final and got us consecutive top 4 finishes.
Erik is clearly just a placeholder manager for them. They probably don't rate him much more than we do. But they cannot decide who they want as his replacement and I imagine Tuchel isn't the only big name manager who didn't want to go near the job.

5 wins out of 17 in the league
1 win in 9 in Europe.
Absolutely fucking grim.

So what would you do? INEOS after being very decisive in quickly appointing Berrada, Wilcox and Ashworth, seem incapable of deciding who they want as a long-term manager and at this rate Erik is on course to be the only manager post-Fergie to complete 3 full seasons. I imagine INEOS's inertia is because they don't want to give Erik a huge pay-off when they don't know who they want to replace him and whether they can find anyone better who will actually want to manage us. But that thinking will result in a mid-table finish (or worse) an early exit from a second tier European competition and an even larger injury list. It seems a far lesser evil to appoint a safe pair of hands such as Ole as a caretaker manager until INEOS can decide on a manager they are prepared to properly back. Feel for Amad and wouldn't blame him if he fucked off elsewhere.
To see Antony come on before him is an insult. Such a dislikeable player aswell.

A short of the overlap has just come up on my YouTube feed. Roy had the look of murder in his eyes after Erickson saying Twente wanted it more.
THAT. Is what our club needs. The look of fucking murder. Rooney also saying there were 5 or 6 captains in the squad, now there isn't even one. This lot have that backbone of a fucking slug gorging itself on a fucking cabbage. Paid extortionate amounts of money and can't win a game of fucking tiddly winks. Cunts. Get on social media and say we go again. Fuck. Right. Off.
You're a fucking disgrace to the badge and the honour of the babes. Wankers.

Players are mentally weak for sure. But it is also part of the role of the manager to fire up the players and instil a winning mentality. I get the feeling Erik is too patient, too trusting, too forgiving and too quick to find excuses. He has a lot of nice sentiments about keeping the faith in the players and the process and sticking together. But really that is loser talk that will eventually get him sacked.

Ole had a decent bounce capped off by that PSG result then shortly after it started to go south and he was soon found out to be in way over his head. Why is he a safe pair of hands because his tactics and in game management were no better than ETH. on all this “club legend” and “gets the club” bollocks we may as well just appoint RVN for the rest of the season as he’s already here(that will also save a few quid on oles wages that can go towards sacking ETH).

[Miguel Delaney] Ten Hag: "From two tough away games, Porto and Fenerbahce, we take two points, this is a result."
Is he going to compare himself to Fergie if he wins another League Cup? This man is mediocrity personified.

This man is mediocrity personified. It’s the sort of thing he should be saying at a Dutch club not Manchester United. He should have been fucked off at least 12 months ago. No other so called top club would put up with this mediocrity for so long(we still have the Fergie 86-90 years in our mindset). we should be using Aston Villa as a prime example of how changing a manager can do wonders for a team’s fortunes.

I trust that the people running the club now have an idea of what they are doing. I am just unsure of what they are waiting for.. this is clearly only going to end with him being sacked.. might as well have something to play for still when it happens.
