Casemiro has been quietly excellent most times he’s played this season (bar Liverpool). He looked particularly good tonight alongside Ugarte, who looked more like the guy who plays for Uruguay.

In his entire tenure here we didn’t have a single game with 5 or more goals scored. Not fucking one. That is an absolutely fucking abhorrent statistic.
Utter disaster of a manager.

Think Jose is actually the only permanent manager who never managed this post-Fergie. Erik’s was against League One opposition like. Nevertheless, your point is still valid.

Nice to see some energy on the side from ruud last night, Erik was broke by the end this club has done that to every manager since fergie, I just hope all these changes that have been made will help Ruben succeed.

Casemiro and Ugarte definitely shows a lot of promise as a partnership. Ugarte can focus on doing the dirty work and that leaves Casemiro free to boss midfield and pick out passes and get forward and score goals.

Mainoo should be phased back in. He looked dead on his feet just before his injury covering far too much ground. We don’t want to burn him out too soon.
Unless Casemiro and Ugarte stop working in this system let him work his way back in

Exactly. Give Casemiro and Ugarte a run as a partnership and then slowly phase Mainoo back in when he is fit and fresh and the new manager knows what he wants from him. Mainoo is exhausted from all the firefighting he had to do under Erik. And no harm for a young player to have to win his place back in the team. There are enough games this season that he will get opportunities to break back in;

Everyone looked up for it, energized. Solid win and it's on to a stronger side in Chelsea for the weekend.
We need to start stringing some wins together, get the confidence high for when Amorim joins so we can get back to the business of being in the top 4

Leicester B team, but yeah happy for Ruud. Still pining for Erik? The club has done the right thing for once. Under the previous regime we would still have fired ETH but would have just given it to Ruud knowing it would take the fans 2-3 years to turn on him even with average performances. As nice as it would be to keep RVN it as to be because Ruben wants him and not for sentimental reasons.
