Garnacho's decision making has to be better if he is going to be staying on when Marcus is being taken off regularly.... Casemiro about wanted to rip his head off.
The team as a whole looked more consistent. No real fall off of energy which would always see under ETH...great energetic half then just be absolute dog shit the next half. We stayed in the match. Also, Zirkzee is god awfully slow and can have the touch of a cinderblock as times

Definitely a good thing that we persuaded Amorim to join immediately rather than wait until the summer. We really need a manager like him who knows exactly what he wants to straighten things out and impose some discipline and order to this team. He also needs to be given free reign to get rid of any players he cannot get a tune out of.

33 year old Chris Wood at Forest has as many goals in 10 games as Manchester United. As before worst forwards I've seen at United since 1992 before Cantona joined.

Maz is the only player that can come out of that having put in the effort. The guy had a fucking heart problem a few weeks ago and is covering both sides better than Dalot is covering one.
Thought the ref spoiled the game constantly stopping it.

Brentford have 18 goals twice as many as us and Brian Mbuemo also has as many goals as us combined! Spurs have scored 22 goals.

The recruitment has been a fucking disaster and naive as fuck Antony, Sancho, Zirkzee and Hojlund = 280mm  I rate Hojlund as a second striker for the future, but not good enough yet. With that money they could have bought 3 world class forwards at their peak and fixed the roof.. Keep buying crap wide players and 10/9.5's we don't fucking need instead of planning and getting the best proven at their peak |

Worst stats for forwards in the PL and that constant lack of scoring great chances also puts extra pressure on the defence

Over 1/4 way through the season and we've not managed double figures in goals. Woeful stuff.
7 points off the drop aswell. We desperately need to sort this goalscoring out in Jan somehow because we're not getting it with this lot. Too busy trying to go for glory themselves.
Bruno pelting that chance at the end sending it miles over probsbly pissed me off more than anything in that game and perfectly sums up why we are where we are.

I struggle to understand what people expect of Hojlund; he is a kid. United should never have such an inexperienced player as their main/only striker.
Zirkzee is an obvious second striker, can’t understand the thinking of playing him upfront.

They could turn out to be a top signing, average or a complete dud. We correctly try this but pay the finished article price. True but as my point above is we paid around 60 million for him(for me that’s far too much for an unproven kid). That sort of money should be getting you a proven striker. any prospects should be at most around 30 million. |
