There are no goals from this team because they're still running on the remnants of ten Hag's coaching. Gyokeres was doing fine at Coventry, not great or anything, but he had the attributes which Amorim took and developed into what he is today.
We've got players with the attributes up front - Rasmus, Nacho, Amad and Bruno. Amorim must be allowed to develop them into their full potential.
The only player who I'll say I'm not sure what his role is yet is Zirkzee. He cannot start against the top teams, but he can offer tactical flexibility against the lesser teams if he can work in tandem with Hojlund.
I hope we can attain tactical flexibility with Amorim.

Agree with you. Crazy thing about Zirkzee is that, i think under Amorim he would play well as the left sided forward. The way Amorim plays his forwards, he would thrive there. The problem is that you have Rashford and Garnacho there already. On the right Amad and Bruno.

I just wish Zirkzee had another yard of pace in him.

I just wish Zirkzee had another yard of pace in him. Agree. He’s intelligent enough and holds the ball up well.

I don't know about you guys, but I am looking forward to watching Sporting v City tomorrow night as much or more than any United game this season. I also think that the viewer numbers for that game will be higher than anything City or Sporting have ever had a CL game round 1

It's clear he isn't comfortable there and is doing him no favours whatsoever. Feel for the lad atm because he's getting some right pelters. Was reports that he wanted to go back to Italy as he can't settle here. Perhaps there's actually something to that.

I get that they needed a CF in the price range but surely there was better options out there ? CF is a difficult position to fill nowadays But im happy to keep him around if he wants to be 3rd choice next year. He hasn’t been great but neither has anyone this season

He hasn’t been great but neither has anyone this season I'd like to see him as a No.10 linking up with Hojlund. Should have gone for someone like Sesko. Who would have been cheaper and a decent option up front. Or Osimhen on loan of it was doable. But then had we no spunked stupid money on players like Mount we'd have had the money go after a top striker. The priorities and standard of player we're bringing in is just in the shitter. But the lad is and never will br a striker.

He's more of a No.10 than he is a No.9. Or failing that if Bruno is playing like he did last night take him off aswell. As good as he can be he shouldn't be beyond being taken off either. Plays every minute of every game. He could do with a rest himself occasionally.
