He is an excellent player for someone so young and so short! (I'm allowed to say that i'm a short arse myself!) Although i missed the match today (grr i hate my job!) i believe he impressed again! So gutted to have missed today i bet it was fantastic! AND Ole played!

Rossi all i can say is he really so young? Now if we can get him and young wayne in the side together we will be set.

I said it in the Match Day board, but I think Rossi will just look better the more he plays with the team. His first touches and control are AMAZING, and when he's more familiar with the rest of the team, they'll be able to interpret better what hes going to do next.
I said before the game that Ruud should have started and that Rossi would have been out of his depth, but he did a good job today. If its him and Saha starting for us next season, I wont be gutted!

i agree, but i will be watching the world cup for 2 reasons : 1. England to win 2. No injuries for United players

Yeh, for the first time in years, can we just have a fully fit decent first XI at the start of the season??

Rossi and jones look like bankers to break through next season - with a couple of new midfielders and a replacement for Ruud, we'll improve on this year and things will be looking good in a year or two I reckon.

I like Rossi a lot, his movement and touch are spot on.
It's pretty obvious that he's going to be some striker.
I've heard Carlos Quieroz saying that United might send him out on loan somewhere next season and then recall him at some time in the future.
Richardson went on loan to West Brom a while ago, could be more of the same for Rossi.

Who can doubt Rossi’s talent, and at such a young age, the future certainly does look bright. And here comes the but, I don’t think he should adopt the striker role. A proven goal scorer he might be, in reserves, but I don’t think he’d be a constant top goal scorer up front. I think he should play off the top two, or one, depending on which formation Alex plays.
I certainly think he’d benefit better playing a Scholes type role.

Yeh I agree with that mate. Although if Ruud leaves, he might have to be out and out for a while. Scholes did that too when he was a lad.

Rossi is definately something special. I'm expecting him to be a regular week in and week out. heres hoping he as good as we all think and hope he will be

Am I alone in seeing Rossi as a young Paul Scholes?
In that he's playing as a striker now but as he mature's he'll become more of a creative midfielder?
I'm just not sure that we should see him as an answer to any striker problems we might have in the next season or two (though I know he's scored loads for the reserves).

Too early to tell if he could be a midfielder, but it's worth a look. We have a good few players comming through though, and a few about to come through. Richardson, obviously went on loan and it helped him but I wouldn't wanna see Rossi on loan and hopefully that's just Queiroz being Queiroz, I wanna see him playing next season and we'll need him by the look of it.
Jones might feature next year but I doubt it. Imo when ever i've seen Chris Eagles play, he's looked like a long term replacement for Paul Scholes, for me he's the dogs pajama's. Can't wait till he makes the leap into the first team.
And no Scott I doubt we'll have a first 11 fit for the start, Chelsea will though, cnuts!

If we got David Villa, who's the latest player I'm gonna bum, then we'd have the most frightneingly moble attack in Europe.
