I’m going to have my fingers crossed for the boys all throughout the World Cup. We need everyone fit at the beginning of the season if we’re going to have any realistic chance of taking the title from Chelsea.

Yeh more than anything this World Cup, I just want to see our players do well. England arent going to win it, and so if the likes of Heinze or Ronaldo having cracking games against England, I'll be pleased.
But please, please no more crucial injuries!

Will Gabby be playing for Argentina? He's not played since September.

You can see the Argies going far in the World Cup with the team they have, so I wouldnt be surprised to see him get a game or two later on, or a few sub appearances in the group stages.

Will Gabby be playing for Argentina? He's not played since September. I'm thinking Fergie held him back for the WC to give him extra time instead of bringing him back early end of season. Then again i still think if we'd have been 2-3 goals up against sunderland at half time Gabby would have come on.

when england eventually go out, my attention will turn to argentina (for heinze) and holland coz id love to see Ruud on a goal scoring rampage for 1 last time a player of that quality desreves a big accomplishment...heres hoping if england dont do it...holland do

I'm backing England all the way!, and hopefully Wazza can get him fit for the latter stages. Of course though, I don't want him going to the World Cup semi-fit and risking major injury.
As with all the others, I couldn't handle any more injuries. Next season is vital, another season without a major challenge at the top silverware and Fergie could be sacked (which I don't want to see)...!

The season before last when we had Ruud out for most of the season, I was pissed off, and it cost us the season. Then we had this season, again riddled with crucial injuries. I just couldnt take it if next season was fucked because of injuries they picked up at the World Cup!
Here's to Lampard and Gerrard getting screwed up, for a change!

As an Irish man I'm gutted because we didn't make it and Sweden did, and we hammered Sweden recently, but I think Stan Staunton will steer us into the next one. World cups aren't as fun without the irish in my opinion.
I think Italy will win it but I'm going to be supporting the Argentinians cos they play good football and actually have a defence.

Would be good to see the Irish back in a World cup soon, will be very interesting how Staunton does for you especially with bobby's 'role'.
