Now that the season as finished and we are left to look back at the times that could of been and the moments that saddened the hearts of many...What ave been your worst parts of the season?
For me it as got to be the point when we knew that we were knocked out of the Champions league, that was a very sad day but there is no way that we were going to let this effect us and we had to make sure that we picked ourselves up and just moved on and that is just what we did and credit for us for doing that. We have got to make sure that we learn from our mistakes and this was one of them and i believe that it will be a different story come next season.
I know that there have been alot of sad moments this season, and another one for me would have to be the injury to Alan smith. It was not nice to see one of your players like that on the floor in the pain that he was in and knowing that you can do nothing but watch with fear and hope that he will be alright. It is great to see him back on his feet and i know that it is going to be another few months before he gets on the pitch but he as made the start that he wanted and he as got to make sure that he keeps this us and i am sure that he will.
And then we have got the Liverpool defeat in the F.A.Cup, and i have got to say that if we had of won that match i feel that we would of been he favorites in the cup to go out there and bring home the 2nd piece of silverware this season and it's a shame that we didn't do this, but again, we had to make sure that we didn't let this phase is and we just got stronger from this and made sure that we went on to make the most out of the season that we had left.
Loosing Keano was a very low point in the season, he was with us for along time and it was sad to see him go, but at the end of the day he as always wanted to play for Celtic and there is no reason what so ever why we should of stood in his way and he had got the freedom to do what ever he wants and it is great to see that he is happy where he is, people move on and this is just a case of that.
So yeah, there have been alot of low points this season but we can not dwell on these and we have got to make sure that we go out there next season and show that we can be the best and do the goods on the pitch and get what we all want back at old Trafford, and that is the Premiership title and all the other silverware that we can challenge for. Next season i feel is the time when we get our name back on the map and make sure that once more, we are classified as the worlds best team, something that we have always knew all along.

there were a lot of low points mainly middlesbrough, chelsea, liverpool away, and sunderland at home....but by far the worst feeling of the season and probaly my worst ever was losing 1-0 to lille away from home that was the most vile sickening distraught moment of supporting man utd for a long time.the performance was shocking wed just lost to middlesbrough we were about to face chelsea and everything i mean everything was going wrong keano was on his way and had said his feelings. but the worst part was the ferguson interview after the match i sat in bed at night listening to it and id never ever heard such a glum lost for words fergie, the great man had nothing to say normally a rallying cry would be the next step but he couldnt stomach it that was the moment that i thought this would be fergies very last seaon but thank god we put up a united front for the second half of the season

There were quite a few lows alright. Being knocked out of the Champions League tops the bill I think, it had been coming right from the opening game of the group stage but, even when it happened, it was almost unfathomable. While they weren't exactly setting the world alight domestically, you always expected that they could turn it on for Europe. I had so much confidence in them as they went to Benfica and when Scholes scored, I thought, "Yes, Fergie's done it again." I was sure that the big man wouldn't let them get beat in such a big game.
Losing to Liverpool in the Cup was pretty bad too, especially to a goal from England's answer to Carsten Jancker.
I think the worst thing was, whereas United had been always so prolific against the smaller teams, these last few seasons have been different and the Sunderland game was proof of that. The days of teams coming to Old Trafford, retreating under their shells and staying their for ninety minutes so as not to get a complete hammering appear to be gone. United have never been that overly consistent against the bigger sides (barring Arsenal) but their ability to take six points every season off Fulham, Sunderland, Bolton, etc. was often the deciding factor in deciding the destination of the title.
Chelsea's consistency is something else though, United's points tally would be enough to at least mount a real challenge any other season. Indeed, in any other country. Things were not all that bad - the highlight being that great moment when, standing in the Stretford End having spent half an hour anxiously looking towards the clock, the heart skipped a beat as Reina got a hand to a fantastic header, but to no avail as Rio celebrated and Neville gesticulated.
All in all, it wasn't a bad season, there were many more highs and lows that aren't mentioned above. We'll be back next year, but with Ballack and Shevchenko now donning the blue, the task of wrestling from Mourinho's grip the trophy that once called Old Trafford 'home' is a huge one.

coming home on the plane from Lisbon, after losing 2-1 to SL, well if any of you were on the same plane i dont need to explain. There literally wasnt a word spoken, i think everyone on board was too stuck for words.. manchester united out at the group stages.. it was a lack luster performance, it was meant to be a night in tribute to George best and we let him down.. big style.
