crilly doesnt seem to like united fans that are from the south.... crilly i spose you label beckham a glory hunter...after all, a united fan thatr lives in london...shock horror!!! gosh. get on with it man not really just beckham, if had been from leeds I would be calling him a sheep fiddler, and if he had been scouse, well there are no words to describe what i would think of him. |

The problem with Beckham coming back is that I'd have to renew my subscription of Hello magazine. REDSEVEN - that avatar of Keano is disgraceful. To me you're no better than a scouser singing whilst Alan Smith broke his leg - no better than a scouser trying to stop the ambulance getting to hospital. No difference as far as I'm concerned. The sad thing is you do make some good points - it's a shame that I don't read them anymore 'cos of the avatar.

well thats just the vibe i got.....yeh sure beckham left us.....but it doenst mean he wasnt a good player for us in the main, especially in the treble season (gosh it seems a long time ago)
but just with what you were saying about him being a cockeny bastard and all, sorta shows you think united fans HAVE to come from manchester....not alwasy the case at all
i have always supported united and no one else.....so you know...im a united fan through and through...

I didn't think that how his departure played out really was the best way he could have handled it but I don't hold it against him that he left. Had he ended up with the gooners or scousers then all of the sudden proclaimed either team the best team around then I can understand the sense of betrayal, but he ended up in Madrid and did what a lot of players do: go with whoever wants to pay you the most...someone has to pay for his and Posh's weekly hair cuts no? |

totally agree with scott the red...Although my one regret about beckham is he made us a hell of a lot of money because of his status as the most markettable player in the world...and I think we should have got a lot more money for him!

i'll always have a soft spot for becks, but no, wouldnt want him back. he chose to leave, for whatever reasons, and he hasnt done much since. he hasnt won a single thing since leaving utd has he?
hes doin rly well for england at the moment, and good for him.. but nah, wouldnt want to see him at our club again.

It can't be blamed on him that Real Madrid haven't won anything since he got there, imo he has been their best player since he arrived in Madrid.
The fact of the matter is United have not won the Premiership or Champions League since he left.

The problem with Madrid wasn't just Becks though...they're at a transitional point and need to rebuild. Madrid went the same route that Chelsea's going through now, the one difference at Madrid being that big name signings are often campaign promises by who ever is running for president. |

Ruud missed the pin point service he was getting from Becks,Utd as a whole are worse off after the sale of Becks i remember his last game at Utd just won the league but the look on his face he new it was the last game as a Utd player,looked sick.True Utd Legend great footballer again like all the best we shouldnt care about what they do off the pitch,i would sign him back tomorrow.
