I wish Becks' was still at United, but imagine him playing in the top Real Madrid side with Ronaldo, Raul, Zidane & Carlos at their peaks he would of thrived. His problem is he joined Real Madrid at a time when they are definitely in a transitional period, he should of stayed at OT!

It can't be blamed on him that Real Madrid haven't won anything since he got there, imo he has been their best player since he arrived in Madrid. The fact of the matter is United have not won the Premiership or Champions League since he left. We havent won the league or Champions league since Djemba Djemba left either. Does that prove anything?

I feel like I've had this conversation with a hundred different people, a hundred different times. Becks left, he won't come back. He loved United, despite anything said in newspapers or according to my mate who knows a bloke who knows a girl who heard someone's cousin say yada yada, he did love the team. He's gone though, he won't come back, he's happy in Madrid, and he wasn't happy his last season at Old Trafford. He's a good captain for England, he's an important player for Real Madrid. But he is never going to be a United player again, so whether he is good enough or not, doesn't even matter.
I'd have him back in a heartbeat though.

That means we've missed Djemba-Djemba ;D
My point is though people blame Beckham for the fact Madrid haven't won anything since he joined them but they don't mention the fact since he left Manchester United haven't won a major trophy, I'm not saying it's down to him leaving, I'm just making a point.

Yeah I don't think our lack of trophies is due solely on Becks, but he was a part of a team which found their stride and played well together. He fed the ball well and did well from set pieces which are talents we haven't found in the players we've gotten since then. I like Ronaldo and it's not a criticism of him, but he's still developing and Becks was already there.
As for Madrid, it's not his fault they haven't won any trophies either...that whole organization is a bit like a soap opera with the constant managerial changes and the rest of it. They're a team that has to make some changes that will get them back to Galacticos status and I think Becks will be a part of that.

Ronaldo has called for Fergie to play him in an advanced role, second striker. Ruud's future is far from certain, although I hate to see it he may just leave.
