He's just gonna end up like swp, a potentially excellent player, riding the pine at chelsea instead of making a massive impact on a club who actually needs his services. Cant someone assassinate abramovich??? Chelsea would be nothing without his millions!

Good riddance...I don't want any players wearing a red shirt who don't want to be with us. This whole story has been an odd one...first he wants to play with us then he doesn't because apparently he made that decision to sign for United under pressure. Well he'll have plenty of time sitting around Stamford Bridge to figure it out.

No doubt for the coming season and probably next he will rot on the chelsea bench or in the reserves but from what I have heard he is a good player so it could still backfire upon us if he does get into their team and turns out to be very good.
Still it's £12~million for nothing really except an excruiating saga. Well it pays back nearly all of what we spent on Vidic and Evra in January, not bad.

I vote hell yeh for getting the 12 mill for nothing  for a few reasons that is. Firstly, we're talking about a youth player who hasn't played proper cub first team football for a long time, neither has he been able to train with established coaches. Therefore he's missed what is for most players some of the msot important developement stages of his career. Secondly, he's now going to Chelsea to be part of their youth set-up, they have over 15 midfielders involved in the first team set-up, over 9 of these are central midfielders, he won't get a chance for a long time. Not to mention the amount and quality of youth players which Chelsea bring through, Terry being an exception. 12 million for a player who's greedy, missed his main developement of his career and won't get to play for Chelsea in a long time, good stuff #thumb# |
