I like that the logo is smaller than the initial publicity shots showed. The fact that the sponsor's name is on the shirt is enough, we don't need the sponsor's logo too much larger than the club's badge....United > sponsor. The new kit isn't bad, but there's always something generic about the Nike shirts that never gets me too excited about them. The black one I really liked, by the looks of it that will be the training shirt...

i think its pretty damn nice now we just need a few new quality players to break it in #thumb# It looks like Liverpool red, not United red. Theirs is more pinky and lighter than our red... and thats exactly what that looks like #furious# #boxing# Nah it's still cherry red, It does look slighttly lighter but thats probably just the lighting in the photoshoot. I can't stand the red of Arsenal and Liverpool it looks, well, gay!

I hope it is just the light. I dont see any reason why we should change the colour of our shirt. Teams like Arsenal and City who have done it recently just look like mugs... I dont want that to be us.

lads check this out. www.manutd.com/news/fullstory.sps?iNewsid=344349&itype=466&icategoryid=119New home kit to be revealed on ManUtd.com 7/7/06 9:33 AM Manchester United's new home kit will be revealed to the world next Friday - on ManUtd.com. All United home kits are special but the new home kit to be revealed on 14 July is particularly so. The Nike designed strip has a 1950’s retro style – a tribute to the success of the Busby Babes and their enduring influence. Sir Matt’s principles of youth, courage and success first bore fruit in 1956, when the Babes clinched the Championship. That landmark success had been several years in the making as young players progressed from winning the inaugural FA Youth Cup in 1952 to establishing themselves in the first team. By the end of the 1954/55 season almost all the old guard - the players who had won the FA Cup in 1948 - had been edged out by a production line of burgeoning talent. One year on, this burgeoning talent won the title. [Click here to read more] The same principles have been pivotal to the success of future United teams and 50 years on, the talent, triumphs and legacy of young men like Duncan Edwards are being remembered and celebrated by the Club in a number of innovative and engaging ways. Fans who know their history may see similarities between the kit donned by Duncan Edwards in 1956 and the strip that Ryan Giggs will wear in South Africa next Saturday, when United play their first pre-season match. We'd love to show you more but the design of the kit is strictly under wraps until Friday when it will be unveiled at a special photocall at the ABSA Stadium, Durban, South Africa. Replica kits will be on sale from Thursday 27 July but if you pre-order yours now, you can have it delivered on that date - and be one of the first United fans to wear it. To pre-order, please go to www.store.manutd.com [Alternatively, click the colour image above].

Lol i'd laugh if that rumour of us "surprising" the world with 3 signings at this kit unvailing came true - wish I could work out where I read it. Anyways sounds good though, I really like the look of the kit.
